This House Sparrow flew down into the bush and sat there for ages, clinging on with just one leg.
Just as I was thinking it must have damaged or lost it's other foot in an accident, the foot appeared from between the feathers, clasped the branch and flew off.
Maybe he was just practising for his role in the Avian version of the Christmas Panto, Treasure Island.
