What a great shot. Are his eyes actually two colored, turquoise on the bottom and black on top, or is it some kind of reflection or optical illusion, I wonder?
@gardencat Thank you Joanne, I have had a good look and cropped and zoomed in on quite a lot of shots of this Damselfly. I believe the eyes are the turquoise part. The black bits are just part of his shell. Those bulging eyes do give them a very wide view of the world.
