I spend a lot of time trying to get a decent shot of this bird, but he was very elusive and this was about the best I got. Dippers are amazing birds, a bit bigger than a Robin, but get most of their food from underwater. Raging torrents like this one, hold no fear for them, they dive underwater and run or swim in search of food.
