Continuing to wander the Scottish Highlands.
This is the oldest stone bridge in Scotland. It was built in 1717, and badly damaged by a massive flood in 1829. To the left of the image are some very large signs telling visitors NOT to climb on the bridge.
Apart from the possibly they might fall off it, and damage the rocks in the river, there is the much more important fact that they could cause damage to the bridge it self.
He's not the only person to ignore the signs, in fact once he'd posed for pictures, his female companion clambered up there too !
What selfish actions you report on. But a quite astonishing bridge - it does look rather precarious. The colour of the water is pretty astonishing too.
