A former police station near Rotterdam Airport with the word 'landzicht' (land view) painted on the roof. It has recently been restored and the boarded windows have been replaced by showcases with the history of the small village 'nooddorp' (emergency or shelter village), which was built over there in 1941 after the bombing of Rotterdam. The majority of the native population has relatively low incomes and the social cohesion in the neighborhood is very high. If you know what I mean.
Next to Nooddorp lies the so called Indian village, build in the sixties for unruly families. It was even fenced back then!
People familiar with the site won't recognize the tree which is actually located a mile away.
