Today Sinter Claes arrived with his steamer from Spain. The Saint, traditionally riding a white gray, visits our country each year to bring lots of candy and presents for the little ones at Sinter Claes eve on Dec. 5th. He is also one of the sources of the much better known holiday figure of Santa Claus.
This year is quite special because Bram van der Vlugt, the actor playing Sinter Claes for the past 24 years retired in 2010.

His horse does magic things, like running over the rooftops. Here we met between the toys at the local department store.
This horse, although not very real, is also for @smallenburg. We never met but without her I never would have walked the path of 365.
