This sign is part of the Walk of Fame. Many tiles need to be repaired or renewed because the top layer has peeled off. Moreover, the tiles do not fit in the redevelopment plan for Hart van Zuid.
The tiles are moving to the West-Kruiskade but the new location doesn’t have enough space and not enough money was raised to renovate them all. In any case, the tiles of the Rotterdam stars will be preserved. The remaining stones are offered for adoption.
