What are you protecting? We have lots of exclosures (sheep) on Strensall Common near York to safeguard the ridiculously rare Dark Bordered Beauty moth in its only English home. Seems to be working, only 6!!! counted in 2015, high 20s last year.

@jesika2 these will be temporary enclosures in an ancient woodland, we want to see what would grow naturally if the deers
didn’t graze here. That’s great to hear about the moth.
