So do you carry a GPS or does your camera have one in it? You always make it a point to put the coordinates in your description, seems like an extra bit of work, but definitely very interesting.
@shadesofgrey I play a game called geocaching where people hide things using a GPS and other people go to look for them so it has made me very familiar with coordinates. I often go back to geocache locations where I remember interesting picture spots.
The Panasonic camera I use does have built in GPS, I carry a GPS with me a lot of the time, my phone has a GPS and I look places up on Google Earth. Lots of ways to get the info. I wish more people posted coords because I would love to know where a lot of the pictures are taken.
@mcrt I might have to start posting my coords....but they are taken in the same spots, more or less. I am familiar with geocaching...I take my kiddo when the weather is good, he and I call it treasure hunting though. Makes it seem more interesting for him. I'm more familiar with grid coords versus long/lat though....still wrapping my head around long/lat.
