I get that this is another one of your geocashing adventures, but what are these lockers and what is inside them? Something electrical it looks like? Intersting place.
@mstipe This is an abandoned cement plant. Another person I follow posted pictures from it a few months back and I finally got out there to check it out. You do have to slip around a fence and avoid the homeless guy that lives there, but other than that... I want to go there so badly now!! Those pictures in that link were amazing. I need a buddy though... Is that a place you could take a small group of people or is it better to just go with one person for extra protection.
Also, is it trespassing or are you allowed to go wonder and check it out?
I would not want to take too big of a group. No reason to draw attention. As far as trespassing, I would not want to admit to that. Let's just say that I want down by the water from a park and ended up on the wrong side of a fence.
nice shot....it is a pretty cool, chill spot- and the art there is always changing. did you happen to see all the small "coin-like" copper pieces all over the floor..? - - it is bothering me...can't figure out what they are!
@sticksandstones I didn't notice the copper pieces, but it was a just quick run up during lunch. I look forward to going back some time and exploring more.
from where you took this picture, the copper pieces (they look like penny slugs) are piled up right in the area behind you.....have fun. i actually went out exploring this weekend.....one of your spots - - so thank you in advance...i'll tag you when i post.
