@michelleyoung I realized it had gotten dark on me and the only pictures I had taken were from a yard clean up. Where to go? I know the lighthouse. The parking lot should be empty at 9 pm. As I was pulling up I saw fireworks and a sign about the Lighthouse Park Festival: No Parking. Oh well, I was committed. Found a parking spot a half mile away and headed down. A nice bonus was that the lighthouse was better lit by all of the light from the festival.
@mcrt Not many lighthouses in the South Sound, and your photo is well lite. Wondering what it would look like if you tried to get star trails behind it. But then the clouds have rolled in, the rain festival may have started. :-)
