The Natural Progression of Time

Out at SweetWood — this little statue sits at the entrance to the path down to the circle. As I was preparing to post this, it occurred to me that it would have fulfilled my get pushed challenge — to portray the theme of “Time” — had I not taken it one day too early. On Sunday it was a bit chilly and damp, but not actually raining down, as it had been, so I decided to take that opportunity to take a walk down to the circle and get some photos with my iPhone. I couldn’t bear the thought of being at SweetWood for the weekend and not taking any walk on the land.
Interesting colours and texture on the statue. Have you thought of cropping the grass and stone part to the left? They seem a bit distracting.

@blueace Well, it doesn’t qualify for the challenge as I took it Sunday before the week started, but I thought I’d tag you so you knew I was thinking about it.

@ingajohansson Hmm, no I had not. I’ll look at it a bit more critically and see what I think. Thanks for the suggestion!

Smoothed and textured by the weather and Mother Nature.

Interesting shot on the passing of time that we all know about.
