When we arrived at La Rochelle this fruit and vegetable market was in full swing. This was just a quick shot on my phone as I walked past - not wanting to get left behind! The produce looked so ripe and inviting. Unfortunately when I next walked past with more time for photos, the stallholders were packing up for the day. A missed opportunity.
So colorful! I always end up buying bags and bags of produce because it all looks so beautiful! Then get home and wonder what was I thinking! So hard to resist, and the season is so short.
@terrinorthwind You are so right! It is the same with all the beautiful breads and cakes - when you get home they are usually squashed and don't look quite the same as in the shop! I have to try and resist!!
