Red Leaves by megpicatilly

Red Leaves

These beautiful red acer leaves had got trapped within the ivy. Thought this might be a good image to experiment with 'selective colour'!
That is so lovely Catherine. How do you do this? Is it done in post processing?

@365anne It is done in photoshop - adjustment layer, hue/saturation, change 'master' to the colour you want to reduce and slide to -100. Do this for individual colours, apart from the one you want to keep - in my case red - and leave it at 0! Thank you for your lovely comment Anne.

@jesperani Thank you Jennifer and for the fav. Wasn't sure if the ivy should be selected, or the red leaves , but think the red leaves were better.

Works beautifully Catherine. You have controlled the sc very well. It's not over-done and the image retains depth.
