Hop Pocket by megpicatilly

Hop Pocket

The annual Apple Fair was held in our town today - a celebration of everything grown in this area. These hessian bags are called Hop Pockets and were used to store dried hops, bearing the name of the farmer and origin on the front. They are about 6ft long and could hold 176lbs. In the town today they were being sold as cushion covers!
interesting information ... the apple fair sounds like a lovely event
