Today I had an interesting encounter with the anole lizard who lives in the grape vine structure. I like to when they leave their tale exposed and within reach, just gently touch the tippy end of the tail to say hello, I like you, let’s be friends. I think I have booped this lizard a few times now, and again today. I hung out taking pictures and generally aggravating the poor dude by being around sticking my camera in his territory. I think he may have been telling me to piss off. At one point he scurried out of sight into the rose bush below. I was standing there looking to see if he would come back up the wooden post when suddenly something touched my sandaled foot which instinctively twitched a little. I looked and that lizard was near by in the brambles, just staring at me. I had been booped back!
