Wild Kingdom in the backyard
Checked on the anole living amongst the grape vine. He was sassy and showed me his dewlap. Also today there was a butterfly which even landed on me a couple times, but tended to fly off when I approached it. Suddenly it landed in lizard territory. For a second I wondered if it was too big to be a target for an anole and moved towards it trying to scare it off. At the same time the lizard was on it. The butterfly didn’t move for me or the lizard. So it became lizard lunch and gone in seconds. A little surreal like it was done doing butterfly things, said goodbye and portaled to the next dimension via anole.
