I took this peony flower picture back in May but hadn't used it so thought I would today. I could use a little spring uplifting in these dog days of summer.

i like the angle too, cool shot. it's great to see the spring bloom pics --- we just came out of an 8 week drought so the flowers are not what they normally are!
It's so pretty! And I see an ANT! haha It makes me think of spring and how excited we were to be done with winter! Now, we are facing that again..but I LOVE fall, so that's okay.
It is very beautiful. Our peonies didn't do as well this year and was very bad last year. This looks a lot (from what I can tell) to be about the same color as ours. Usually I get some huge blooms because I snip off the tops of the flower buds when they are small and allow only 1 or 2 per stalk to grow.
