These were next to a lake. I'm still looking for a sign of flowers. I did see a little patch of crocus but couldn't stop to get a shot of them. At least there is a sign of spring.
I think Thistles are so cool and love them in a floral arrangement!! They are also great at Christmas time if you spray paint them gold or silver and then sprinkle them with glitter while still wet!! Gorgeous details and clarity! FAV!
This is such a beautiful shot. I have tried to capture these but they are always blowing in the wind. Spring is here and flowers are blooming. It will be 80 degrees today, 86 tomorrow and in the 80's all weekend long. Not at all what we need. FAV for this wonderful photo.
@skipt07 Thank you Skip. I think someone else mentioned teasels, too. I thought maybe thistles and teasels were pretty much the same thing. I'll have to check in to them a little closer.
