Do you have a macro lens, extension tubes or macro filters to focus on one of the buds? If not if you have a zoom lens, zoom all the way in on your longest lens and get as close as you can get to a bud and get it in focus. It will create a nice blurred background.
@skipt07 Thank you for the suggestion, Skip. I actually am planning to do that for a future shot. One of the things I most love to do with the camera is use the long lens and zoom in close to get the blurred background. I don't have a macro lens. I wish I did. :)
