the shades of pink and green are so nice and strong. Were your peonies covered with ants? Mine are. My husband (who grew up in PA) said that was one of his strongest memories of his grandmother's garden -- the ants that covered peonies.

Thank you Junko. The buds were covered with ants and if you check out the picture I put up on on May 30, you can see the ants. Ants sure like peonies.
