Love the different colors of the beautiful flower. what kind is it. is it a daffodil. looks almost like it, but I can't se the long stem a daffodil has.

@bruni This is a Gladioli. They are tall stalks ( 2 to 4 feet tall). Most of my flowers started blooming while we were away. This photo is near to top of the flower stalk. I couldn't resist taking the photo. It's the only one I have that's bi-color.
