What a wonderful reflection!!! It certainly is harsh pruning... I wonder if the tree will survive?!?

Pollarding is a horrible thing to do to a tree. I'm sure it will grow back in time, our council seem to do this all the time because it's easier I reckon. Great shot though lovely reflections.
