The Parterre at Charlecote. by moominmomma

The Parterre at Charlecote.

This variation on the Elizabethan knot garden is immaculately maintained, with every box hedge perfectly clipped and the annuals dead headed,in pristine condition.I drooled. I had a dear friend who lived in Massachusetts, but must have had past lives here, around this time because he was attempting to plant out his own parterre in his back yard...
Beautiful garden. Wish mine was that neat!

How beautiful! And so amazingly precise! It reminds me of the pristine gardens that surround Versailles and Chateau Fontainebleau in Paris!

An amazingly neat garden. Glad I don't have all that box hedging to cut!
