These pics are all 'Fillers' because what with the rain and increasing family commitments, my poor old camera barely sees the light of day! But I miss you all! This is me and Mum, who is suffering from dementia,on a day out. Living with dementia is like living on quicksand...you never know when things are going to shift!! But we take it day by day, stay as 'real' as possible and never lose hope...
Moominmomma is sometimes my alter ego, sometimes my real self,never sure which as God has'nt finished with me yet... I love children, chocolate,solitude,nature,music of all...
What a lovely pic - my Aunt had dementia so I know what you mean but value the days like this because before you know it they are gone and all you have are these memories. One good thing is that you have these lovely pics to remind you of such days! Lovely

We took her on to the Cirque de Soleil, which was perfect for someone with very short term memory loss, just a feast of colour,shape and sound, with no storyline to follow. She loved it!
Yeah, Dementia is very cruel, my Nan who died at the end of last year, had it and it was a big strain on my Mum.
