Nice image. They’ve just put a Blue Plaque, next to a phone box in Meols on The Wirral. It inspired the song “Red Frame, White Light” by OMD.

@imnorman I’ve just looked that up and read the history of that phone box, really interesting thanks. I am an OMD fan back in the day. Don’t hold out much for this box it’s in the middle of nowhere but not remote enough for vandals to find it. We have a phone box in our town, it holds a defibrillator. Thanks again Ian.

that looks sad - we have two listed boxes on the High Street that are looking tatty. I might suggest a defibrillator in one. They need something doing to them
