Two weeks ago as we drove west through the gorge in Washington state, I pointed out the mileage sign for the town of George.
"That's really neat!" exclaimed Thing 1. "I want a city and I'll name it.....Mike"
Thing 2 and I couldn't stop laughing, realizing she didn't get the George, Washington connection.
Today, we were back in the gorge area when a pit stop was requested. We couldn't believe our luck when we pulled off the interstate to find ourselves actually in the town of George.
