Nice capture of this Spoonbill! I never see these in the SF Bay Area (yet). Merlin Bird ID map only shoes them spotty on the east coast, more somewhat along the Gulf of Mexico, and in S. America. Fav!
They sure do have interesting beaks! Nicely captured- the only ones I've seen have been in zoos. It must be neat to see them in their natural habitat. Good shot!
