Oh that is such a lovely, poignant image. Wonderful to have kept these items, and great that they make you smile. I can so relate to the 4711. Granny always had it, and so did Mum when she could afford it. We don't see it here any longer, but that reminds me I must buy my own mother some more perfume!
Beautiful collection of such special items. I'm my mum's special things I found some embroidery thread that her aunties had given her. I used the thread to embroider the grandchildrens initials onto Christmas stockings I had made them.
