On the 1st March 2021 I posted my first photo on 365 and have been hooked ever since.
I have lived all my life in North Hertfordshire, spent my working life visiting and working in many countries in the earth boring/drilling industry (water well, ground engineering and foundations).
I now have retired with my wife Janet to Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
I’ve had a life long passion with photography, but thanks to 365 Project and the discipline of shooting regularly my skills have improved.
I think the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that good light is the key to a good photograph. Oh, and also the ability to look, I see so much detail these days I would have missed in the past.
Editing is a skill I’m developing, I use Affinity Photo or the editing soft wear Apple supply on their devices - it’s very good for “tweaking” shots.
I now have thousands of photographs and it’s great to share one per day with my friends here on 365. I always welcome the feedback and fav’s. I also think that viewing the photograph on 365 gives me so much inspiration.
My retirement (part time) job takes me all over the UK collecting and delivering cars - I always have my camera with me!
