But when I saw this kid (one of twins), my heart melted.
Then things got sociopolitical.
With the things going on right now, I just thought...what kind of world will we be handing to our children? Would values still exist? More rhetorics, more drama and more mouth-agape-horrific-mental-images because of a precious little lady.
The future is bleak, as always. But even more compelling, humanity churns out exemplary people over the ages, all the time. Compassionate, warm and justice-loving people who still care after going through so much of the ugly in the world.
So I guess everything will be fine. Faith in humanity restored.
