This is beautiful, Nicole! There's so much to love about this, and that swirly ski (?) lines on the bottom really add to the scene. If you're up to trying a second version (not that I'm a landscape photographer but you said you wanted to tackle it), I wonder about trimming a tiny bit on the bottom, a little more on the left to the edge of the corner thingy sticking out on the lower left which brings the hill into the vertical third line and the top of the hill barely into the horizontal third line. A teeny-tiny sliver off the right so the edge is in the dip between trees, keeping the whole tree but not the cut off part beyond. A 16 x 9 crop. Just a thought -- and I hope you don't think I'm too intrusive. I only took time to think about this because I love your capture of this scene so much.
@nicoleweg And you might not like such a tight crop at all! (although I have no idea what a wheelhouse is) Frankly, I thrive on feedback and suggestions and I learn so much from others' comments. Ultimately, I decide what I want for my own aesthetic preferences.
