After spending nearly 3 weeks in one place it seemed strange to go back to freedom camping for just a night or two in each place. We are so blessed in NZ to be able to spend the night parked next to some old Pohutukawa trees that shade the sand from the harsh NZ sun. We need to be thankful for what we have as we think of those people braving extreme cold or wars in other parts of the world.
