There is always somthing new to discover in London, for years I have seen this "box" in the middle of the round about at the Elephant and Castle, I never knew its significance. Today for the first time I had to use the pedestrian route accross the roundabout so discovered its a Memorial to Michael Faraday (22.09.1791 - 25.08.1867)
