Moon

Tonight the moon was lovely and clear with a circle of light around, I tried different settings on the camera but couldn't get a clear image of the moon itself even on the "moon" setting on the camera.

The rings are great but you need to go manual to capture the moon surface :)

@gilbertwood Thank you Denise, I was using my new small Nikon camera, so can't change to manual but that is useful to know when I am using my Canon. I have previously unsuccessfully tried taking shots of the moon with that. My old Nikon camera took great moon shots
