Gates from Euston Station

One of the original gates from Euston Station London c.1838
Kindly donated to the people of Shildon by the National Railway Museum. Erected by Sedgefield Borough Council 2002.
There is another gate further along the road.
After Euston Station was demolished and rebuilt the gates were stored in the railway museum in York.
Interestingly since the gates came to Shildon The National Railway Museum have built a museum on the old sidings in Shildon
