The prayer club of a church of England primary school in Woodborough had the idea to do something to help needy children at Christmas and the whole school took part. All the children were given a white bag to decorate. the younger ones were asked to put sweets in them and the older children a toy or book, some also put in sweets. Half were given to the Salvation Army the rest to a Hospital. We sorted the sweets, selection boxes and other chocolate evenly between the bags, (toys were put on the tables) and with other chocolates that came in around 70 children of the families who come to collect toys all had a bag. An extra present for them this year'
There will be many happy, smiling faces because of all the work done by you and your companions. Congratulations to you all and best Christmas wishes
