William Booth was born on 10th April 1829. Being Easter bank holiday the Salvation Army
decided to celebrate both.by opening the centre and the museum, providing Easter crafts, refreshments and the opportunity to visit the museum for the local community
Many of them, have never visited the museum
Although I had heard of William Booth I didn't know very much about him so I've just googled him. What an interesting story. Thank you Margaret, every day is a school day.
