Today I emptied these pots, scrubbed them to get them clean and still they smiled.
Unfortunately they were infected with vine weevil larvae one more so than the other so I spent a long time going through the soil removing all the larvae I could find.
@koalagardens@pennystot Thank you, they are quite unusual, I will start planting them but will need to wait for my seeds to grow before I can finish them as we can't get bedding plants now
@happysnaps@monicac Thank you, lots of people would like pots like this, I must of had them for about 15 years, I got them in a Sainsbury's superstore in London, there was a least one other design but I only had enough money on me to buy 2. When I went back there were none left and they never had them again,
What fun pots, I look forward to seeing them planted up. We too have a lot of trouble with vine weevils. They seem to particularly like the pots with primulas in. I hope youâve managed to get rid of them.
