I went out into the garden with my macro lens this morning. I was trying to capture the battered magnolia which is still stunningly beautiful against the blue sky.
I was hoping for a ladybird or a passing butterfly.
There were interesting little flies on the developing wild geranium. I nearly captured two sparkling starlings.
But this horrid creepy crawly ended up in front of my lens. I think he's a shield bug.... but he made it to my page.
