Invader

On another site I used to be infamous for stalking ladybirds. I used to find them wherever I went. But this year I can't seem to stumble across so many.

I found a traditional red ladybird under my rosemary this morning but my photos weren't clear. After the storm I went out to try again - but all I could find was this foreign invader.

Oh milady, I owe you an apology. You're British to the core - just the rarest of our yellow ladybirds - the 22 spot.

Funny, now that you mention it, I don't see them very often any more either. They used to be everywhere.
