Bouquet

Both of us being people that don't throw stuff away easily, it was easy to find a corner of 'junk' :-)

This little vase belonged to Mark's mum. We both can't remember where she had it in the house or what it was used for. It's silver plated and has odd spoons and forks in it. Also a couple of those tongs for sugar cubes. As you can see some forks are creatively bent. One of Marks' many projects.
@tdaug80 fun challenge, went through stuff I hadn't seen for a while. Played a little bit with the split toning in LR, to give it a bit more metal like look.

Lovely tarnished silver. Beautiful patterns both on the vase and the shapes of the silverware. Great "junk".

I would not discard that beautiful tarnished vase or utensils either! They are definitely keepers and your shot of them is beautiful.

i'm kind of in love with that fork 😎... are you allowed to remove it from the vase? if so, for get pushed, perhaps you could play with that fork as a lone subject... alternatively, perhaps use the works of pablo picasso for inspiration (black and white is fine though!)

An absolutely gorgeous still life. Love the shades of gray, with a touch of gold. Your children have grown! I've been off 365 for several years, but I'm back!

Great processing

Uri Geller springs to mind, with his spoon bending. This makes a great still life. A vase of cutlery is something I would never have thought of.

Most interesting bouquet of silverware I've ever seen!

You've captured the colour and texture very well. Great still life.

They make a great combination. The bent pieces look like they could be used in a wind chime. :)
