Spotted this cottage as we walked along Dovedale into Milldale with some friends on a weekend away in my home county Derbyshire. There is a great tea stop here which we and several groups were enjoying. 10 minutes later and the heavens opened as we made our way towards Tissington. Result we turned back and headed for the car at the end of Dovedale. After what can only be described as a miserable route march back we were soaked, despite Gortex jackets, over trousers and boots. Great day but it was good to get into dry clothes and head for dinner in dry pub-with the sun shining!!!!
What a pretty shot. Knew you were an ok guy... I love dovedale, it's one of my favourite places in the whole world .. and I've been soaked there too! Bet the pub grub tasted fab!
