Well a 6.30 start to get to York by 9.30 to do an open day at the Uni. My youngest is thinking of doing Philosophy and Politics at York so of we went via the rail system. York was heaving with usual summer visitors, visitors for the Railway Museum(see Fishers) to see Mallard etc and umpteen young teenagers looking to start their academic life. Loved it and got this shot as well after we had been to the Uni. From this angle they were a riot of brilliant colours, just like my mind after the lectures I attended!!!
Ha ha your comments about the lectures brought back memories I felt exactly the same after the Uni visits with mine (Law for my daughter and Geology for my son - neither subjects that come naturally to me!!! )Hope he found his day informative. Love the blues in this shot.
Now that's not something you see every day! My oldest is starting to think post-A-levels too, York would be a lovely place to study. (I digress). Great shot
