Happily sat looking at one of the plants outside and saw at least four caterpillars on it. Extension tubes helped me get this shot and I was pleased as the wind was quite gusty and not helping keeping the subject still. Not sure what type but I don't fancy there chances as it is quite cold today.
@padlock Probably Padlock I can't remember who sang it...just googled it & there were four lads singing the version I'm thinking about they might be the Pony Tails but probably a cover. I love the song though!
Good close up. I think these are the caterpilalrs of the cabbage white and unlike you think @happypat the hibernate as chrysalis ( so do a lot of other caterpillars)
