Wet apple, wet everything!! by padlock

Wet apple, wet everything!!

Didn't move from the house today but took this picture of a wet apple using my 200mm plus x2 extender. The clarity of this combination is superb and I just love using it.
Colours, tones and detail are great. Is it still raining back there in the UK?? Looks like the London meet up went very well, I was sorry to miss it but definitely hope to make the next!!

@paulaw Hi Paula, we were so lucky I think with the weather, it had been raining but held of and despite one or two showers we didn't really get wet. Looking to organise another event in London but not sure when. Will probably post something by the end of the week.

My kind of shot. This is what telephoto lenses were made for. I also like the even tones

A lovely composition and those drops look great on that apple. What a foul day it's been - I've managed to get soaked at least three times today.

It's been a good year for apples, and this looks like a fine specimen!

Nice shot mate. Do you lose any sharpness with the x2 Extender? - I'm almost certainly going to get one, it's just a question of whether I get the x1.4 or the x2.

@snaggy no I find the 2x absolutely brilliant. If you are near London happy to meet and let you use it to see if it is for you.
