Xmas tree finally up and decorated. This decoration has been with me since I worked in New York many years ago. It was given to my by an American work colleague at a Tree Trimming Party. Basically I supplied an empty tree, beer, wine and food. My guests each bought a tree decoration and the tree got decorated. Not sure if this still happens in the US but it seems a great idea and I must remember if for next year. Have said that every year when I see this decoration. Hope you enjoy and it lightens up what is going to be a dreary, grey, wet weekend!!!
I LOVE that idea!!! Very nice to have such a memory every time you trim the tree too! We are going to help my son and daughter in law trim the tree tonight. Merry Christmas.
I love the idea of a tree trimming - I might try that one day when Dave and I manage to buy our first home and we have our first proper tree! Nice shot.
