Expectant Father by padlock

Expectant Father

Sorry a filler today but it was wet and grey and I spent 6 hours with a paintbrush in my hand. This was taken yesterday at Hatfield House, the deer are easily spooked and I spent about 45 minutes getting as close to the fence as I could. All ready for the shot when two Mum's turned up shouting and screaming to their kids look at the deer. Have to say the deer didn't stick around and the kids were more interested in destroying the Bluebells-as they say that is life.
A brilliant capture. Fav.

Beautiful. They look so perfectly calm and fragile. Probably like the bluebells were. Love Hatfield. We walked among the ancient oaks and felt sure Tolkien had been there too... those trees have tales to tell :)
