Sorry another shot from a past visit to St Albans. The peace of the Cathedral is always so good. I am really struggling at the moment for time with the camera and to comment on the site. Have to say feel old and a bit useless. People not keeping there word for delivering what they should, doing what they should, the way people speak to me and it does make me feel ancient. Not all can be sorted on the Internet.Witnessed today a conversation where a mature gent spoke to a guy behind the bar as if he was trash. The barman didn't deserve it and I was so surprised by the viscous verbal attack!! Sorry for the rant but that is life.

I understand the time problem perfectly. I'm often staying in hotels (27 so far this year!) and find myself catching up with emails and stuff in the evening. Keep pluging away!
@nicolaeastwood Like you, I don't think Mr Padlock is old and useless at all @nicolaeastwood . Crusty, grumpy and a bit of a curmudgeon maybe but old and useless... NO! However, if he is getting into the habit of saving young barmen, I might have to change my mind about him!
This is a lovely capture and very spiritual!! We all have days like that, but they can be painful at the time. I wish you happier days and nice people to surround you. Perhaps a new day will bring new faces and places!!
