Sorry to use a filler but Thursday was a very traumatic day for us well at least until 8.15am. A level results day and I have to say Baby P did it. He got the grades to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford. His mother and I shed tears, he was so relieved and pleased. Nobody reminded him of the "discussions" several months ago that is he got offered a place at oxford he would turn it down. The experience of youth!! So sorry the day was spent in a haze, probably more jet lag me thinks but Mrs P and I just sat and sat.
Well done Baby P - he'll probably make Prime Minister after all !!!!! Well done to you too for bringing up such a bright and intelligent son - you've obviously given him your brains and support!
Congratulations to your son, that's an outstanding achievement! I live in Oxford (didn't go to the university, alas), but it's a lovely city to live in.
Fabulous News for Baby P and I'm sure you are both still glowing with pride! Great shot for the day :)
(Still waiting for George's results... school didn't open the postbox with his authority to post them and wouldn't hand them to me... been waiting for the postman in trepidation every day until I found someone to talk to today...aaaaaarghghgh!!)
